Left Vela Gardina sailing southwards into week 03 with increasing northerly winds. Stopped in Loviste, a beautiful bay however as wind increased so did the swell and I ended up moored to a buoy not very well protected from Wind and Swell. None of the Buoys in the bay were proctected which affected 2 other yachts that followed in later on in the evening.
Left Loviste in fairly easy conditions however contrary to the weather forecast/s it turned out very blustery from the south so we had the wind on the bow and needed to tack our way through the islands. Waves increased in hight and strength and eventually I dropped the already reefed sails down and motored the last 2 hours to Trstenik Harbour where I took shelter for 3 days due to the strong winds from the south and very choppy seas. The last passages took me to Sobra a small fishing village where I stayed for 2 days and then finally a short hop to Okuklje where again I spent a further 2 days.
