First solo sailing, never looked back. I spent a great deal of time sailing solo, improving my skills, learning the sails and their best point of attack, twist, shape and so on. Practised again and again mooring and casting off, sometimes with a Marinerio, sometimes without. Motoring in reverse, stopping and your normal marina manoeuvres trying to bring my skills up to scratch for the planned voyage in 2025. As always I managed to finish some small repairs and also replace the mainsail which had been on my list since buying “Colinsbav”
Most went well, no-one was injured, there were no damages to report , the only misdemeanour due to negligence ended in a tangled mooring line in the propellor. A couple of dives sorted that out.
The rest was fun time, enjoying what I had set out to do and enjoy life @ 60+
